A fabulous traditional Japanese House cafe inside the Shingko Bridge entrance to the UNESCO heritage park in Nikko.

A cafe in a pleasant location at the park gates, with friendly staff.However I wasn't entirely satisfied with the matcha, it seemed too watery.

Loved the place. Very well preserved old style building with some delicious sweet options. Must visit for those in Nikko heading to Tosho-gu.

An old private house cafe on the way to the precincts of Nikko Motomiya Shrine. Renovate the buildings of the Edo period and make it modern. Good access and convenient location. The atmosphere inside the store and the atmosphere of the staff are also good. Various guests are visiting here. How about a coffee break?

When you enter the shop on a cold day, is it a stove? heater? There was a relief, so I took a break.The crowd was full.The staff had a friendly atmosphere and seemed to be busy.The clam chowder bread and pasta were very delicious.

If you're tired from shrine-hopping and walking about, this is a good rest stop. For where it is I don't think you could do better. Prices aren't too high and the quality is good enough. Don't go there for good espresso but it's a nice place to relax with a nice piece of cake or a sandwich. Apart from the machine made espresso, it's great. It's far enough away from the main Street to feel a tad secluded but close enough that you'll never get lost.

Coffee is delicious, risotto is also delicious and high cost. The owner is very kind. The atmosphere was also very good.

The clam chowder that cut through the bread at the Kanaya Hotel is exquisite and repeats several times!It's just hard to feel cold because the floor gets cold every time. It doesn't become floor heating ...It is also recommended for dating because the atmosphere is good.

A lovely café with very friendly (English speaking) staff. The house is an authentic old (looking) wood house. Great Matcha Tea and Japanese desserts. Really enjoyed it!

I would like to sell a half bread loaf of Kanaya bakery royal bread with clam chowder inside.Importantly, however, this clam chowder does not contain any crumbs.Is this a fatal injury as a product?I think it is better to be renamed Yuba Chowder.The taste is rich and stomach leans.The space to take off the shoes at the entrance is very inconvenient.The inside of the store seems to be fashionable, with half-hearted characters placed in some places, resulting in poor consistency and poor completion.

Great matcha and coffee and the outdoor seating was beautiful. The staffs however were a let down. Didn’t carry the usual Japanese hospitality. Not friendly nor welcoming

A cafe on the way from Kamibashi to Toshogu.It was a traditional Japanese-style shop with sandwiches and other snacks and coffee.The shaved ice was natural ice and it was very delicious!

Very nice mood. macha-latte was great and so was the local beer. Cake are also really tasty. The place has nice stove for cold days, and there a window with a view in a small lovely garden. If you are going to visit the shrine in which Tokugawa Yesausu is resting, this nice cafe is a place you must go before or after your sight seeing.

After all, it is a shop with a good atmosphere (^ ^)The food was delicious!The terrace seats were good, but it was cold so I got it in the store (^^)

I felt relieved with wooden house and tasty coffee here. It's very cosy cafe so that I spent good time reading some books here. I think it's also good to make travel plan here.

I stopped by after visiting. The stove's fire was warm and I could spend a slow time. PayPay can also be used.

Just after deciding to travel to Nikko, I came to see something introduced on TV. Cream anmitsu and hot coffee. It was a good retreat-like atmosphere.

Amazing place, the staff is really nice, the Macha latte is amazing ❤️❤️❤️👌👌👌 must visit when in Nikko.

I stopped by for a break.I thought the price was a bit high, but the coffee was delicious with no bitterness.

The drinks are quite expensive, around ¥ 600, but the quality is there, especially a very good matcha latte. The atmosphere is very pleasant.

The atmosphere is calm in the room with the style of an old house. Instead of indoor footwear in front of the entrance door, it is narrow and just above the stairs, so there is no room for people to come out. This was a bit disappointing.

Espresso!

I saw it after visiting the shrine at Motomiya Shrine.At first I was puzzled to take off my shoes, but inside was a calm atmosphere with the warmth of wood.The coffee was delicious, but the tiramisu of today's cake was the worst sponge at the bottom.The sandwich was delicious as crisp at Royal Bread at Kanaya Hotel.

I like the atmosphere of the shop like an American country house.And the clam chowder was delicious ~. I ate one with my mother, but it was still large.And Yuba Sashimi! The soup was not soy sauce but dashi so it was delicious. I'm wondering where to buy ...It was a store that I wanted to repeat.
